One of the many things that I always look forward to while bringing students to Envision Chicago is the life-changing work that God does in each of the students hearts. They are taken out of their normal and placed into a new and drastically different environment for one week serving and being trained. The Kingdom experience and the change that takes place is life-changing for each of them.

The Chicago Envision team creates a challenging and rewarding trip experience that allows participants to develop in their faith and expand their worldview. My team really loved engaging alongside Envision’s work in the community of Rogers Park.

I have been on many short term mission trips and our trips to the Family Empowerment Center in Chicago were the only one that not only provided opportunities for us to serve but also took time to pour into the lives of our students and adults with some very life-impacting spiritual training. I’ve been a part of taking students to the Family Empowerment Center on three different occasions and it is such a joy to see the impact it has on them as they encounter Christ on a whole new level. Scott and his team are doing some amazing kingdom work in the Rogers Park area of Chicago.
